The Cabildo de Gran Canaria, through its Island Library, has announced the thirteenth edition of its International Illustrated Album Competition, in which people of legal age without restriction of origin or residence can participate for a prize of 11,000 euros and the publication of the winning work.
The Department of Culture of Gran Canaria has stipulated that the deadline for submitting the albums will be December 17 of this year and that the publication of the book will be the responsibility of the Catalan publishing house a buen paso. It is also specified in the contest rules that 2,000 euros of the economic prize is an advance for royalties.
