The City Council of Salamanca has presented this morning the XXIII Young Creators Contest 2023 aimed at young people between 14 and 35 years old, which includes, as main novelties, the 3D Design modality and the division, in two modalities, of Video Art and Video Clips, thus responding to the creative concerns booming among the young population.
A total of 17 participation modalities may be submitted: Creative Cooking; Comic; Short Films; Short Stories; 3D Design; Graphic Design; Fashion Design and Fashion Accessories; Sculpture; Photography; Micro-stories; Music; Painting; Poetry; Short Stories; Video Art; Video Clips and free discipline.
Those young people interested in submitting their proposals may do so from today until June 2 either in person at the Youth Space (José Jáuregui, 16) from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 to 14:00 hours and from 17:00 to 20:00 hours, or by mail indicating the same address.

In this XXIII edition 55,150 euros will be distributed according to the following distribution: a category A reserved for participants born between January 1, 2004 and December 31, 2008 -both inclusive-, with a single prize of 1,000 euros for the categories of Comic, Short Films, Fashion Design and Fashion Accessories; Sculpture, Photography; Music; Painting; Poetry; Short Stories, Video Clips and free discipline.
There will also be a category B for the rest of the participants with a first prize of 1,400 euros, a second prize of 950 euros and a third prize of 600 euros for each of the above categories.
In the modalities of Short Stories, 3D Design, Graphic Design and Video Art, only one prize of 1,400 euros has been established.
In the modality of Micro-stories, a first prize of 1,000 euros, a second prize of 750 euros and a third prize of 400 euros have been agreed.
In the case of the Creative Cuisine category, a first prize of 1,400 euros, a second prize of 950 euros and a third prize of 600 euros will be awarded to participants in category A (first and second courses) and a single prize of 1,000 euros for category B (desserts).
