Courses 2024-2025

General course of

Comic

The Comic has achieved massive popular recognition, discovering itself at the same time as a point of origin and influential formula in the emergence and development of new media.

Get started in the Comic.
Understand how each vignette works, each plot.
The narrative, the backgrounds, the anatomy.
Acquire each of the necessary knowledge that professionals use from the hands of professionals.

In the Joso’s general Comic course you will learn to draw from scratch with the Comic as a pretext and tool.

Course objectives

The course, divided into three years, aims to lay the foundations of the language of comics and provide greater strength in the student's artistic skills through the monitoring and analysis of their weekly work.

The syllabus proposes a first year aimed at learning how to draw through the fictional character, the surrounding environment and the understanding of the vignette as a unit and framework for the development of the scene.

The second year will introduce the student to the language of sequential narrative and will conclude with a knowledge of the styles and the influence exerted on it by the publication formats that define the current international comic book scene.

During the third year, the objective is for the student to acquire experience in the construction of comic pages through the different genres, from the initial planning to the final inking.

The course is divided into groups differentiated by age groups of students.
The course program has been designed and adapted to the level of interest that corresponds to each age group.

Course program

The general Comic course aims to lay the foundations of the language of the Comic and provide greater strength in the student’s artistic abilities through the monitoring and analysis of their weekly work.
