The Acting in Drawing course offers the draftsman complementary tools to conventional academic methods so that he can develop characters with greater interpretative and expressive depth in action poses, emotional poses, interaction between figures and the scenic space.

This course focuses on the study of the movement of the human body from the draftsman’s point of view for the creation and development of characters.
To do so, we will use tools from the world of theater and corporal expression that aim to broaden the framework of the artist’s work.
These tools are commonly used by professional animators and illustrators.
Their pedagogical application is beginning to expand in art schools around the world.
This first part will help us to activate the body and use it as a tool for the creation of characters outside the conventional stereotypes and limitations.
Through the body experience, we will connect the drawing area with all those elements necessary to breathe life, originality and honesty to our characters.
We will draw the character by taking advantage of the study of body mechanics, muscle memory and experienced emotions.
In this third part, we will share experiences and drawings and analyze the processes and methodologies of character creation and interpretation.

He has worked as an art director for companies such as Novarama, Paso Alto or Apeman Studio, children and youth illustration for Difusión, Edebe, Greenpeace, Cruz Roja or Anaya, or background design for production companies such as Filmax, Lion Toons, Locomotion or Mago.
He has also worked in advertising making Storyboards for Repsol, Danone, Ceac and Honda.
He teaches at Escola Joso, 9zeros, IED Barcelona and Laboratorio de Dibujo.
Artistic creator and live model.
Artist with training in contemporary dance and physical theater, with years of experience as a model in drawing, painting and photography.
She has been a model for the Faculty of Arts in Chile, the Espacio Belgrado and the Faculty of Arts in Buenos Aires, as well as the Cercle Artístic Sant Lluc, the Col.legi Oficial de Doctors i Llicenciats en Belles Arts de Catalunya and the Cercle Artístic de Sitges, La Nau and the Escuela de Arte Terapia Gestalt.
